D. Beretta (Drakkar) and E. Rastelli (Crown of Autumn) created Crimson Dawn in 2005 as a side project. After a demo-CD, the project was shelved. In 2008, Dario made the decision to resurrect it and shape it into a real band. Since then, the band has recorded four full-length albums and two EPs, and played several shows across Europe.
